Help: Weird ambient occlusion shadow/lighting effect - Rhino - McNeel Forum

(see attached pic) As you can see in the image, there is a weird shadow effect that is happening around the steel tie rods while using ambient occlusion lighting. I can’t figure out why there are shadows being cast onto the ceiling/walls behind the tie rods. Is this a RAM/memory issue? Or is there a setting in display options that can help with this?
