This is a cable winder for Karcher's WD4 vacuum cleaner. It was built from Ø32 PVC tube (approx. 60cm) and a spool of Dagoma Chromatic empty wire (the spool hub diameter must measure 52mm and the spool thickness must measure 54mm). On the coil, drill a Ø4 mm hole at the periphery of the coil for the crank, then fit an M4x40 screw with an M4 Nylstop nut for the crank. To lock the cable, cut a notch in the spool. To wind the cable, first wedge the plug into the notch, then wind the cable around the spool.
