District Angling is an independent company formed to fill a small niche in the Washington DC area for fishermen wanting access to local fisheries, specializing in fly fishing.

Based out of Arlington, VA - we love fishing our local waterways, from the tidal waters of the District of Columbia for local native and invasive species like bass, carp, shad, and snakehead, cool spring creeks and mountain streams in northern Virginia for wild trout, or elsewhere in the world where we ply the waters with our flies. We've got you covered.

Fly casting, fly tying, fishing, guiding, custom flies, tackle appraisals, fishing tackle and tying supplies, and all the expert advice you need to enjoy your time on the water. We have a combined total of over 100 years of experience to help you get on the water and enjoy your fishing.
