What you see is what you get. &nbsp;</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Sparrow Ukuleles are all proudly designed and manufactured in the United States!</em></strong></p><p><strong><em>Case not included.</em></strong></p><p>The Sparrow Solid Body Flying V Tenor Ukulele (Steel String) combines an awesome electric guitar body shape with the unique sound of the ukulele. This ukulele comes ready to rock the house!</p><p>The action is set up to be low and comfortable for maximum ease of play.</p><br><p><strong>Woods:</strong></p><p>The body is Poplar, the neck is Maple, and the fretboard is Patagonia Rosewood. The fingerboard fret marker inlays are Poplar. The pickguard is acrylic.</p><p><strong>Strings:</strong></p><p>Sparrow ukuleles come stock with Ernie Ball nickel/steel strings. We recommend string gauges of .010, .013, .017, .026 (wound low G). For high G tuning a .010 can be substituted for the .024. For players that prefer a heavier feel and more tension, we suggest gauges .010, .015, .017, .026 (or .011 for “high G” tuning).</p><p><strong>Electronics:</strong></p><p>The controls are standard volume and tone. This model comes with an Alnico 5 Magnet Humbucker pickup that provides a medium-high output signal voiced to rock!</p><p> The pickup has a great clean tone, but really comes to live when distorted.&nbsp; Rolling off the tone knob accesses a warmer, jazzier tone.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Bridge:</strong></p><p>We use individual string saddles to allow for optimum string spacing for the best feel and performance. The bridge saddles have individually adjustable intonation screws as well as standard height adjustment.</p><p><strong>Nut:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;The nut is hand carved out of bone. The nut width is 1.5".</p><p><strong>Tuners:</strong></p><p>14:1 ratio geared tuners.</p><p>This model comes with 2 strap buttons installed and is ready to rock!</p><p><strong><em>All Sparrow ukuleles ship fully set up and adjusted.
