Soft Eye Splice for 14mm to 20mm ropes

Please use this option to add a soft splice, loop splice or eye splice into your 3-strand rope (14mm to 20mm diameters). A soft splice is achieved by looping the rope back on itself and then interweaving the strands to create a secure join. This is the strongest way of introducing an eye into a rope - for example to hang on garden posts or to suspend from a tree branch. By the way, splicing is not too hard to do. If you would prefer to DIY then watch our instructional video here. We suggest you have a go on some old rope first (10-16mm is nice to work with).
