25 ft, hand tied euro/mono nymphing leader for trout fishing. This custom leader formula allows an angler to effectively drift nymphs throughout the water column in small, medium and large streams and rivers. The purpose of a euro/mono rig in fly fishing is its ability to present flies to trout in a drag free manner. Trout often dislike food items drifting through the water column in an unnatural manner. The euro//mono nymphing rig reduces line sag from the tip of the fly rod to the water, effectively creating the most drag free drift possible. This leader terminates with a tippet ring at the end of a 5' sighter section. This allows the angler to easily attach any length and diameter of tippet material (not included) to the rig based on what water/river conditions require.
