This makes them ideal as emergency only phones. The Altelix Emergency Cell Phone Enclosure is designed for just that purpose. Easy to InstallSince the Altelix TBP uses Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to provide power to the cell phone, this enclosure is ideal for locations with no power available. Simply run an Ethernet cable (not included) from the internal PoE adapter inside the enclosure to any device that provides PoE power, such as network switch or a PoE power injector installed at the location where power is provided. Inside the enclosure a magnetic cell phone mount is provided for use with any cell phone. A cable is provided from the PoE adapter to charge the cell phone. This charging cable is available with either a USB-C or Micro USB connector. Rugged Construction for Outdoor UseThis durable NEMA 3X enclosure is molded out of UV resistant PC+ABS, a high tech blend of polycarbonate and ABS which combines the best qualities of both into a single material. PC+ABS enclosures maintain high toughness, durability and dimensional stability even at extreme cold and hot temperatures. The door is gasketed for use in dusty or wet areas.. MountingThe enclosure can be wall mounted using the included anchors. The mounting hardware is concealed within the enclosure for a finished appearance and enhanced security.
