Waterworks Lamson Litespeed Freshwater Reel- LSF – The LSF is the freshwater version of the new Litespeed. The chassis is based on the conical system found in our other reels with the addition of a click stop drag knob and a unique spring set that creates a linear progression of torque with very fine resolution at the light end of its range. LSF spool and frame architecture is super-arbor in scale for high retrieve, but spare and open to promote line drying and, of course, reduce weight.

The Marine version of Litespeed is equipped with a hybrid drag system, sharing some elements of the Cobalt drag – fixed spindle, large heat wicking

The new Orvis Hydros Reel is the result of Orvis' own desire to make something great, that much better. Orvis took a best-selling reel and removed unnecessary material to further reduce the weight while stiffening the narrow spool, which minimizes line stacking. Orvis changed the drag knob to be more ergonomically accessible and comfortable to use. Orvis further refined the seal on the sealed drag to protect the clutch bearing in the drag mechanism.
