The Rapala J7 is a staple bait for walleye and many other species. We use these on Lake Erie when summer is approaching and the water is warming. They are a smaller minnow profile with a very erratic broken back minnow design. These work very well behind dipsy divers when the water reaches the 60's or higher and the fish want a lot of action. On certain days, these will outperform spoons behind divers 5 to 1. These can be run with snap weights, tadpoles or tru-trips. Like all other Rapala premium lures, these are tank tested to run true out of the box. You can't beat balsa baits when it comes to quality and action!
