The elongated shape of this fishing popper lure has benefits in both action and casting distance. The right to left darting motion and oval mouth make this popper highly effective at attracting a dinner bell instinct irresistible to big hungry fish. It also has the advantage of a deep diving splash when first hitting the water due to its weighted back end. Due to its smaller cup compared to other PelagicWarrior poppers, this lure creates a torpedo effect as it slides through the top of the water. As the name suggests, this lure shape will never die. It is a conventional popper shape with a small cup, a slow tapered head that goes into a deep neck and then slowly tapers back up smoothly into its long and slender body with a rear weighted end. This is the no frills or thrills popper in the PW lineup as its very easy to learn and has the most versatile movement at the surface. The uniqueness of this lure shows in the oval shaped cup. With a quick-reel-retrieve, the Immortal popper will spit water, skip and dive over the surface. Slight rod or reel-speed adjustments can make the lure dart side to side.On a sweep-and-stop retrieve, the Immortal dives under the surface while gurgling, leaving a nice bubble-trail for predators to follow. This lure works best in calm to lightly textured water although it can also be used in rough water.
