Originally, I wanted to shoot drone videos of the Salt River Horses (Tonto National Forest, Arizona); in preparation, I made contact with officials to obtain a film permit. There was a concern over eagles nesting in the area - so the decision was made to shoot in a kayak on the river instead which didn't work out due to the strong river current, so we scouted the river on foot. This video I took of Jessica with the run-and-gun rig (she literally ran right in the river right after we spotted the herd from a ridge above) which we used for opening scenes of the film
