The Rise Fishing Level Series Fly Rods are made from our proprietary blend of high modulus graphite. Known for its durability and casting accuracy, the Level Series excels in tough situations. During the launch of Rise Fishing Company, the owners spent hundreds of days fishing the back bays of Long Island and trudging through the rough waters off the coast of Montauk, NY. One thing was quickly noticed. Fly rods were designed for fishing in perfect conditions. Watching anglers stand on the bow of a boat, we saw anglers bouncing up and downside to side. Then to make things even harder, driving winds were thrown into the equation. Even the surf fisherman dealt with unfriendly winds and pounding waves.

Taking on all of these factors we designed a fly rod that in the toughest of conditions, delivered extreme line speed and pinpoint accuracy. The Level Series has a stiff butt and a more equal distribution of weight through the blank. This cut down tip wobbled as an angler makes their cast in a boat rolling side to side. With the stiff butt section, not only did it make fighting fish easier, it helped in casting multiple lines. Throwing sinking, intermediate, and floating lines equally well.

After months of testing, the rods went into production and became a popular rod of choice for the top guides on the east end of long island. Its popularity continued with other fisheries as guides and anglers across the country realized its potential in multiple situations. Beginners and novices enjoyed its ease of casting and guides appreciated its durability. After all, as a former guide, there is nothing worse than clients breaking rods.

The fighting butt and cork grips are made from super grade cork with composite cork accents. The color of the Rise Level series rods is a rich blue with black wraps.
