Terry Bates cast a spinnerbait along a shallow flat and suddenly bowed up on a nice Lake Ferguson bass. The four and a half pound lunker almost tore the rod from his hands as it took off like a mini freight train. A short time later a two and a half pound bass smashed my spinnerbait and our day was starting off with a bang! After going a little while without another bite, Bates decided it was time to move and try a different technique.
