Responsibilities:

Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
Provides solutions to meet client requirements and can adapt to new requirements.
Understand and document technical requirements from clients, exp in building solutions & RFP's
Define Migration strategy to move application to cloud.
Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.
Create a bill of materials, including required Cloud Services (such as compute engine, storage etc. ) and tools.
Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
Design the GCP network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets Design the HA / DR strategies.
Execute migration plan.
Leverage appropriate GCP services.
Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance control.

Set up process, services and tools around cloud Oversee build of the environment.

Requirements:

Engineering graduate in CS / IT / EEE / ECE (or) Postgraduate in Computer Science.
Experience of around 8 to 12 years in IT domain with relevant experience of 4+ years as a tech pre-sales/Solution Architect for cloud-based product offerings (or)
Equivalent experience in technical consulting / technical support / systems engineering for networking / server / storage / software /security products.
Hands on experience in designing architecture for the relevant products (for example, networking, software).
Good knowledge of cloud technology & eco system (for example, IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).
Basic cloud certification plus At least one or more vendor specific cloud solutions architect certifications (for example, AWS, Azure, Google, IBM).
GCP certified Solution Architects are preferred.
Good problem-solving skills, communication skills and customer orientation.
Previous experience in a customer facing role(preferred).
In-depth knowledge of key GCP services like app engine, compute engine, CDN, Cloud storage, cloud source repositories, container registry, Bigquery, cloud composer
Proven experience assessing client's workloads and technology landscape for Cloud suitability, develop business case and Cloud adoption roadmap.
Proven knowledge of GCP platform and tools
Experience in working RFP's Proposals and Solutions
Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive project from architecture standpoint.
Knowledge of best practices and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry to provide thought leadership (seminars, whitepapers etc., ) and mentor team to build necessary competency.
Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness with key stakeholders in client organization.
Experience provisioning and spinning up GCP Clusters
Experience to build scalable production systems (load balancers, Memcached, master/slavearchitectures)
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Certification in GCP architecture is desirable.
