The Savage Gear 3D Suicide Duck is a top water, floating lure, innovatively designed as a 3D duckling imitation that will create an irresistible stir in the water and literally drive Pike in for the kill. The design of the Suicide Duck has been crafted from 3D scanned details from a real duckling to trick even the most spooked Predators into thinking it is the real thing. The body is built from hard, ABS plastic for strength and durability to handle the strongest of strikes. The belly on the body is also carefully balanced so when you cast the lure out, it will land the correct side up. Designed to walk on the water’s surface, just like a real duckling, the movements are so undeniably life like. The feet are semi soft and durable to mimic a natural movement and the legs will spin and splash. This will create bubbling and ripples in the water, making it unbearable for Pike and Bass to resist. The lure is designed with 2 feathered treble hooks, one on the chest and one on the back which is clipped to the body to ensure a good hookup rate. You can remove the hook located on the chest if you wish to create a snag free base if fishing in weedy waters. The Suicide Duck can be fished fast and slow, with long pulls or short pulls and can also be fished from a choice of 2 styles of action. The first can mimic a duckling trying to stay hidden whilst making an escape and this can be achieved by attaching the line to beak so the lure runs with a low posture. The second style of action can be done by attaching your line to the chest of the lure so lure will run slightly higher, to imitate a run of panic.
