For sale here is a 6'6" 2-piece / 3-tip "Midge" bamboo rod made by Jack Coyle, in excellent used condition. Based on the PHY Midge taper, this is a solid build 4wt with 2 standard tips and one slightly lighter tip marked ".056" (56 thousands of an inch at the tip). All sections are full length and straight. Nicely flamed cane with oxidized snake guides wrapped in transparent caramel silk with dark brown accents. Clear agate stripping guide and each tip top is wrapped differently for ease of rotation. 12/64 micro-swiss ferrules fit perfectly, and the female is fitted with a turned buffalo horn ferrule plug. 5.5" ventilated grip is smooth and shows only slight handling marks.
