Authentic Used Fishing Net Back in the 90s and early 2000s, a commercial fisherman got approximately 2 years use from a fish net before acquiring a new one. Some fishermen still use this style netting today because it is very durable. The used net was then stored in old gear piles or shanties. I reclaim the nets and cut, clean, and package it myself.
